LRTC is a non-partisan group formed to discuss transport issues affecting regional New South Wales and communicate the concerns of regional people to government and other organisations. We comment on a range of transport problems and developments. Our advocacy spans policy issues and large infrastructure projects. See our Commentary and Advocacy pages for more information.

The Lachlan Regional Transport Committee was established in 1983. It draws its membership from the outskirts of Sydney through Wollongong to regional cities and across inland New South Wales.

Members include several local government councils.
